Hai Guys! So its been about 3 weeks since I’ve updated the almighty blog, So inc super fantastic massive post!

Lets kick things off by breaking the tension that is, WHO WON THE PAINT MS COMPETITION! With a massive 4 entries, it took many late nights of deliberation from the team ( ME MYSELF AND I ) but we finally came to a decision. As everyone knows there is 2 different categories, The first is to create an entire new image using only MS paint and we had a massive 3 entries for this category, and i must admit that they were pretty damn good! SO THE ALL IMPORTANT MOMENT, *Drum Rollz LOLZ!*

Had me laughing for ages! Even used a relevant guild event, and surprisingly enough was the first entry lol

The other 2 entries were well done as well, coming a close second was Feraldesh ( Ithani / Ian )s spot on interpretation of what a Wad De Kao car park would look like, Classic!

Especially due to recent raids!(More on that later, lol!)

Onto the second part of the competition, Was to take an image from WoW, or any image and WDK-a-tise it! (Yes a made a word up, Its mine!) We had two entries for this part of the comp, both left me crying of laughter! But as always there can only be one winnah! *MORE DRUM ROLLZ FUK YEH!*

ONTO the next news item. On the 7th of July we were back in Black Temple for another run at illidan and after 3 quick Illidan attempts (its getting to the point where its not really a hard fight anymore, PROGRESSION IS COOL!) we pass out the loots and to our pleasant surprise we find a new toy!

Our progression into Sunwell is currently on hold due to raiders AFK’ing for holidays although the last time we were in there roughly 2 weeks ago we had some very solid progression on Kalegcos, our best attempt was 30% on both bosses from memory and while this doesn’t seem like progression, the rotations on the portals are finally looking solid and everyone understands how to move in and out with there groups. There is a lot of communication on vent for the first time in the history of the fucking guild (LOL!) the tanking rotation is on the ball and the de-cursing / dps is on the ball. Oddly as it seems from Wad De Kao, our raid healing needs to be stepped up, perhaps an extra resto shaman or CoH priest would help but who knows! Currently all we need to do is a few minor tweaks to our strats and positioning and we’ll be on our way to Brutallas! Lets do it guys, I wanna be able to advertise 5/5 Mt Hy, 9/9 Bt and 1/6 Sunwell!

Fortunately we’ll be back into Sunwell this coming Sunday with the return of most people from holidays so wake the fuck up, farm up your shit, Rev up, LETS GET IT DONE GUYS!

If for some reason your a non-WDKian and reading this, we are currently recruiting 1 Resto Shaman, 1 Feral Druid, and 1 Balance Druid. We’ll take skill over gear and please apply on the forums so we can organize some trial runs!

On a more serious note, the last week or so of raiding has been behind the 8-ball of our normal level of skill. Though fortunately it hasn’t been a constant trend, occurring on nights that don’t seem to be progression loot. I understand that we have had a lot of afks, so we have had to compromise but the more everyone fucks around and doesn’t play to there best the more time we waste in said instance. Which means less time at Yum-Char! But in all seriousness, I’d like to see an improvement within our raids which will most likely come back naturally, just a heads up!

While on the note of complaining (Fuk Yeh!) We will no longer be handing out [Mark of the Illidari] for any instance besides Sunwell. The officers have noticed a decline in effort from raiders to farm there stuff for raids and while this is very minimal I’d like to jump on it early and as everyone knows we are quite lenient on consumables. So the one flask you’ll use on the last 3 bosses of Black Temple, food buff and whatever else isn’t that much of an as, and hey, if you can’t farm your shit enter my fucking MS paint comp and win some eh!

About a month ago, Zerul (Julz) decided to step down as Wad De Kao Main tank due to threat issues (More info in an earlier post if your interested). Since then he has decided to take a break from WoW but will still be around when we need him. In light of this Nubyforlife (Lee) has stepped up as our third tank. Once again, thank you Julz for tanking and I hope to see you back soon, but if not, good luck mang !

Just a quick reminder to keep checking the forums as I will be posting information up on Brutallas soon enough and I would like to see that everyone has at least looked at the Hyjelly thread (Ill keep the forum’s up to date on that, will also talk about it in depth at next raid).

Also while on the subject of guild matters there is a guild meeting that will take place Thursday night after raid which means we need a quick 6/9 Black Temple this Wednesdays and not fuck around during the last 3 bosses on Thursday. Ill be kicking off the meeting straight after raid which shouldn’t take longer than 30mins (but if we do use the full raiding time i will re-schedule) and want to use the time to just address issues within the guild, and give everyone a chance to bring up something guild related be it a performance issue, raid composition, guild structure, Dave not laughing in vent anymore! etc. Reasonably casual conversation about the guild, on a larger scale.

I present to you, the one, the only, RETARD OF WAD DE KAO! Grats on making officer in WDK. You get to stick your little fingers in the cookie jar (guild bank LOL!), get even more tells from whiney fucking raiders and you get to have cyber sex with me, RaptoR and biatch0 in officer chat! Isn’t that just fucking awesome!!

Ok enough giggles for now. Back to some real news.

WDK ventured into Sunwell for the first time (like in a serious way) and to be honest, it wasn’t all that bad with the fucking crazy thrash pulls and mad ass chain-lightning-thingy zapping at your ass. It’s like the hardest fucking instance in WoW right now and this will be a real test to every raiders skills. So it’s time everyone carried their own weight and no more dicking around. That means you Dave, stop fucking afking watching your goddamn p0rn while we’re doing thrash mobs

There’s a trend brewing of late and I’m getting a little worried about it. Seems like most people are going AFK on Wednesdays (that’s when we do the first 6 boring bosses in BT) and then on Thursday we magically always get at least 30 people online trying to squeeze their way into BT. I hope this isn’t really what’s happening and all this AFKs of late is just temporary.

Anyway, enough of boring stuff and now for the weekly “Filed Under N”.

Was just reading the forums, and noticed loafer came up with a good idea (for once, lol) Considering we have one night free this week, prolly even a little more then one night, as Hyjal doesn’t take two (Unless we are being terrible, then it does!) To head into Naxxramas for a night, to check the place out to the people that didn’t get to see it pre-TBC

(Will be on Sunday 22/06/08, After Hyjal, And Monday 23/06/08)

So thats what we’ll be doing, Ill be sure to Fraps some of the place (If my comp doesn’t die while recording, lol!) while we in there, and take lots of screen shots to blog more for David!

In other news, It only took us 7 attempts on Illidan last night to kill him, WHAT A FUCKING RELIEF THAT WAS! Lol,Making it our 4th kill, Which all in all is pretty good , Finally we managed to do a 2 night BT, Which is what we wil be aiming for every week now (Also pref not to spend nearly 2hours on Illidan!) Also, The worst thing happened in game last night, The laughter died , R.I.P Dave’s epic laugh (Something along the lines of WAKWAKWKAWKAWKAWKAWKAKWKAWKAWAK)

WDK will be starting Sunwell Plateau as of next week read up on Kalecgos guys / girls, Also get your kara arcane resist trinkets ready! (I’m serious!)

One last thing from me before i stop talking! Lol, The WDK MS Paint PRO comp will be starting as of NOW! Lol. For anyone interested, There are two catergoies, Straight up MS painting, Or like what I’ve done with the Sunwell pic, Take a WoW SS / Concept and edit it! ONLY USING MS PAINT, NO PAINT SHOP PROS FUCK OFF! Heya guyz!

Its been like a week since someone has posted here, so it that time again to liven up someones life at work again!

Within this week we actually got to raid all 4 days! Emazing !

Anyway, We hit Black Temple with a 3 night full clear, though the thrid night was used to kill illidan, which only took 2 hours of that night (No time at all!), This time it was actually a raid member that killed illidan, so this proves that it wasn’t just luck last week! ^_^, We actually seem to have phase two down pat, which is suprising considering this is considered the hardest phase, which we normally fail at! Also props to everyone in raid for the 1 shot on RoS, The guild was just full of suprises this week, Not to mention only taking 3 attempts to kill archimonde!

We picked up three new members this week aswell, with Travy coming back home (Welcome back!) still with the mad CoH! and we finally recognized the other person as a proper member, Deshunda / Phail, More commonly known as james, and finally a new mage, Jury. All 3 of these people are actually good players, so it is possible that we will have a chance in sunwell!

Monday night was an interesting raid night, Archimonde was killed and we found our selfs with around 3 hours left of raid time and nothing to do! Fortunatly we found an SSC instance with just Vashj alive, which we quickly finished off, and then the play was to go over to Sunwell for a bit of trash farming, maybe a shot on Kalecgos just for shits and giggles! As we got to the isle of whatever the fuck its called loafer came up with a better idea, And before we knew it a raid group of 25 people, prot warriors and pve spec’d healers included, Were off for some pvp rape fun! Unfortunalty we didn’t find more then a handful of alliance around, Though to the few we found, got messed up, Was good times! =D

Eventually the PvP ran dry so we actually went into Sunwell for a look around. We got an FTK on the first trash robot, Only loosing half the raid! After the next 2 trash pulls we found the rest of it too hard and went over to Hellfire Pennisula to remove Doom Lord Kazzak from the area for a few days to make doing daily’s easier! While the fight was a complete joke, it was interesting to see how our DPS was, considering it at been labeled a DPS race. Kazzack has 1.1 million HP, We had 3 people die from memory, Bumping his HP up to, in theory, 1.55 Million (If my maths is correct, which it wont be) Which took 1 minute 45secs for our dps to cut through, Considering Brutallas has 10million HP, which we need to burn down in 6 minutes, It would appear we are a little behind the ball!

Wad De Kao will be looking to push into sunwell within 2 weeks, as it seems that alot of people are getting to the point of 4 piece t6, or will be able to pick up the last pieces they need within those two weeks, So for the guildies that are reading this, Farm up your flasks and shit, and drop some DKP on loot!

I’d like to also thank Julz (Zerul) for main tanking for WDK from gruul to illidan, Of recent there have been complaints  regarding his threat per second (TPS) and aggro management, Which some may have been true, others not so much, Regardless, Julz has recognized this and has made the decision to step down as our main tank, The decision came after a quick talk with some of the other officers, and was also a personal decision for Julz, as his time for WoW is limited due to a busy life schedule, he simply didn’t have the time to theorycraft tanking and all that other stuff. Once again, Julz, We all appreciate your efforts put into the guild, and the only tank not to bitch about tanking! (You know who you are!) and while this isn’t a goodbye post, actually far from it, i still think that the role change will have a significant effect on the guild, Also, Gratz to Bitach0(Nxz) as the new WDK main tank.
